Hundreds of clients trust us to search, acquire, connect, forward, and park their vanity phone numbers. If you can't find answers to your questions here, contact our customer support team who's always ready to help.

How does your service work?

At ePhoneNumbers, we make purchasing vanity, toll-free, and local numbers both straightforward and cost-effective. Our extensive inventory is easy to browse, with flexible search options so you can filter by area code, state, word, letters, or number sequences — ensuring you’ll find the perfect fit for your business or personal needs.

Once you’ve chosen and purchased your number, it’s yours to keep. Within a few hours, you’ll receive an email containing account details and instructions on transferring your new number. After that, simply contact your carrier to begin the transfer. In most cases, the entire process wraps up within 48–72 hours.

What is your refund policy?

Due to the nature of our services, refunds are not available. Because not all phone numbers can be transferred to every carrier, please confirm with your chosen carrier that they will accept your selected number(s) before finalizing your purchase.

Are there any recurring charges?

Once you’ve purchased your number, there are no ongoing fees on our end. However, your carrier may apply its own usage charges or other costs, so be sure to confirm with them directly.

How long is the porting process?

Transferring a local vanity number to your carrier usually takes about 7–10 business days, although the exact timeline may differ depending on the carrier.

How do I purchase a local number?

Take advantage of our user-friendly search feature to locate the perfect local phone number for purchase. Narrow your options by state, area code, words, letters, or specific number patterns.

What does “my market area” mean?

A market area defines the region where you can serve clients — it can be as narrow as a single county or as large as multiple states or even the entire country. By licensing only your specific market area, you ensure that every incoming call is one you can actually serve.

How does shared-use work?

Shared-use lets multiple businesses in different locations share the same toll-free number. For instance, 1-800-HOMECARE can be utilized by an agency in New Jersey and another in Georgia simultaneously, with each one only receiving calls from its respective area.

How do I buy a number from you?

Use our intuitive search feature to quickly locate the ideal toll-free number for purchase. You can filter results by state, area code, words, letters, or number patterns.

What is local number portability?

Local Number Portability (LNP), commonly referred to as number portability or number porting, is what carriers call the process of keeping your current phone number when switching from one carrier to another.

What is the difference between a toll-free number and a local number?

Toll-free numbers are different from local numbers as they are not necessarily tied to specific local areas. And so, with a toll-free number, the dialer does not know the exact location of the business, whereas local numbers bear the area code. Another key difference is that calling toll free numbers is free of cost for callers. Receivers get charged instead of callers.
